Who we are

Renovo Search is a recruitment firm that helps renewable energy companies in the US hire, and helps professionals in the industry find new roles. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. When we say "we" or "us", we mean Renovo Search.

What we collect

When you contact us or ask about hiring: your name, work email, company, the role you're hiring for and anything you include in your message.
When you send your resume or apply for a job: your name, email, phone number if you give it, location, the role you're interested in, your resume and anything else you choose to share.
When you browse the site: if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, the device and browser you use and your approximate location.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and talk to you about hiring needs or job opportunities.
To consider you for roles we're recruiting for and, with your agreement, to put you forward to employers.
To keep in touch about relevant opportunities.
To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

We use your information because you've asked us to (for example by sending your resume), because it's in our legitimate interests to run our recruitment business, or because you've given your consent. We will never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Employers: we only share your resume or details with a hiring company when you've agreed to be put forward for that role.
Service providers: companies that help us run the website and our business, such as our website host (Webflow), email provider and recruitment software. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Google Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the US or other countries. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as it's useful for helping you find a role or helping a client hire, and we review our records regularly. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to stop contacting you.
